I used to use this blog to post about current books I was reading but as I read more books it got harder to post about them.....now I don't know what to post about.

The Eye of the Orcale

The Eye of the Orcale was one of the best books i have ever read. It has adventure, love, and comedy, I loved it. It had dragons and humans, a giant flood repopulation of the earth. Dragons being hunted by dragon slayers, the dragons haveing to be turned to humans. Also there were underborns, who were grown to life, there humans grow from a seed. There was this one underborn named Mara she was a very important underborn, she was the eye of the orcale, she makes things happen in the book but that's all i'm going to tell you, your just going to have to read the book yourself if you want to know what happens.

Coraline

In the book Coraline, there' a girl name coraline that was bored one summer and went in to a that looked very similar to the the real world, she is very advendours, and smart. She was able to go up agenst the other mother and win, even though the mother was keeping her houstage. When coraline got home she was even able to defeat the mothers hand that was chasing her. The other mother is evil, she tries to take children away from there home and makes them stay with her. When they don't lisen she takes there soal and moves on with the next child. She is very tricky and lies about a lot of things. When she says she loves them, she really just loves them like you love a price or jewel.

I love the book because Coraline has guts and smarts to beat anything she's afraid of she knows what she wants and when she's determined to get it she dedeos. She was very tricky going up agenst the mother she tricked the mothers hand and she used the mothers reason to gloat to get out of the waste land. The book was amazing it was the best thing i have read in a long time, i'm happy i did. I also liked the other mothers way of getting coraline to say, how she stole coralines parents so there was no reason to go back to her real home. How she creates the land and people to make it interesting enough to make coraline explore. This book was amazing, i can't what to read the next book.

Breaking Dawn

I finished Breaking Dawn one of the books from the Twilight series. It was a great book I loved it. It was about bella who had a child with her husband Edward the vampire while she was still human but when she had the child Edward had to turn her into a Vampire to. Jacob imprited on bella's baby. Jacob is a werewolf. Then Iriana came from a coven that was close to the culllens but she thought that Rennsmee bella's baby was an immortal child and immortal children are illegal in the laws for vampires and she reported this the the Voltrari and they came to slater the Cullens but they ended up not because the Cullens found a bounch of witnesses so the rule of importal children did not apliy to Renesmee who is half mortal have importal. So everyone liven happliy ever after because they were not threatened any more.

Cirque Du Freak

What I have read so far is there is this kid named Darren and he goes to a freak show with his freind. Before they go home Steve stays behind and talkes to one of the freaks. Well Darren wants to know what Steve is up to and wants to help him if he gets in trouble so he stays and hides in the balcony. Darren finds out that his freind is evil and the guy he wanted to talk to was a vampire. Steve goes home and Darren goes back to his house. Darren steals the spider that was in the freak show and plays with it. Steve comes over after a week and finds out. They play with it Darren's little sister comes in and ruins the conection that controls the spider. The spider bites steve. Steve is parralized, they take him to the hospital. Darren loses spider, the spider goes back with the vampire. Darren goes and finds the vampire for a cure for steve, the vampire has a cure but Darren has to turn into a half vampire and be the vampire's slave to get it. So Darren does it to save his freind. He turns into a half vampire and goes to save his freind they have to get the antidote to him before the next day. That is all I have read so far.

Mary Oliver's poems

I picked "A Visitor" as the poem I want to write about. The poem really spoke to me. One of the reasons i liked it is she picked her father as an example and how he kept knocking on her door but she would not open she slept fitfully in her bed. Though one day she came down and opened the door and she saw in his eyes how if she would have loved him sooner what love would have done for there realashinship. I liked the way that she explained it and how he looked. His waxy face, his lower lip swollen with bitterness. The words she chooses are words that make you picture it when you read the poem.

I picked this poem to write about because it has shown me not to hate but to love your family. It has shown me what hate can do to a realashinship. If she would have just opened the door just a little bit sooner there realashinship could have been saved. She would have loved her father and he would have loved her back. That is why I picked this poem to write about.
